I’m an award-winning director, storyteller, and VP of Development at First We Feast. I’ve been connecting dots between food and pop-culture for over a decade—in the volatile digital media landscape, that’s practically two lifetimes. On our YouTube channel, I use food as a trojan horse for deeper storytelling: The legend of NYC’s enigmatic icon, the chopped cheese; Lemon pepper wet, all flats, in Atlanta; The zany passion of America’s foremost Burger Scholar. Mixing high and low, irreverent and heart-driven, I’m in my happy place.
I started my career in editorial as a journalist and features editor. My ability to sniff out stories helped me transition into production, where I now oversee the creation of digital franchises from soup to nuts. As a showrunner, I make premium web series that have amassed 150 million views and counting, ranging from marquee celebrity-driven content to nuanced human-interest stories. I’ve helped grow First We Feast’s 13 million YouTube subscriber base from the ground up – a journey drenched in burger grease, fueled by hot sauce, and galvanized by risk-taking.
I’m a proud L.A. Valley Rat, UC Berkeley alum, former Chez Panisse busser, Apple Pan die-hard, and obsessive collector of restaurant relics.
